Zephyranthes
The name is formed by merge of two Ancient Greek words:
"zephyr" ("the western wind") and "anthos" ("flower"); and together it turns out – "a flower of the western wind".
The choice of this name isn't casual. Western night wind was especially esteemed by ancient Greeks.
He flew always unexpectedly, bringing with himself not destructions, and only a long-awaited cool after a day heat.
This wind even was given own name – the Zephyr, and over time it became nominal.
So called earlier, for example, fine gentle fabric; and presently it is a kind of a fruit candy.
